Now that that’s out of the way, I work for Dollar, and I am horrified to hear of these situations. It does seem misleading with the small screen not showing what exactly you are accepting/declining. For all potential customers though, once the receipt is printed off, there is a section labled “optional coverages” and it has 2 parts, “accepted” and “declined”. If you see that the LDW or Loss Damage Waiver was accidentally added, simply tell the agent, they have to take it off! This 20 second step could solve nearly every post I have read on here. I hope everyone gets their money that they deserve back. Good luck.
