– I rented a car from Dollar on 04/22//2013. The clerk asked if I wanted the companies insurance and I declined. He told me to sign the pad to decline insurance. My wife paid with her credit card. When we got our bill Dollar charged $171 to the card for insurance even though I declined the charges. And because she paid with her credit card they charged $45 for an extra driver even though she did not drive the car during the four day rental. When we contacted Dollar they told us we signed the pad stating that we did want the extra insurance when, in fact, I declined the insurance when the clerk asked. They scammed me into thinking I was signing the pad to decline insurance. When really the fine print stated I accepted the charges.

– We called Expedia who we bought the vacation package through to no avail. We contacted Dollar who is laughing to the bank b/c we unknowingly signed for extra charges!
