Rented @ Nashville airport on 12/12/2013 @ 6pm. My husband and I are 55+ retired couple traveling to Nashville to visit our son & his family. My husband was getting the luggage and I went to the Dollar rental counter. I have rented many cars before but we were hurrying to get to our grandsons Christmas Concert and the girl took full advantage of my age and my husband not there. She kept asking me questions about why we were in Nashville and she used to live in San Diego to distract me. We always decline the insurance because we have USAA but she added it anyway, she also charged for an additional driver when spouse is free. There are numerous other charges we don’t even know what they are for. I would have seen this on a contract if I had been handed one to sign but she had me sign on a small electronic screen and I did not get to see the itemized contract. It wasn’t until we returned the car that we saw the bill for $40 3.92 Our reservation confirmation that I took to the rental counter had the grand total as $112.92 **I had filled out all the reservation info declining their coverage online and checked in online which was supposed to give us a ” Rapid Rental Check IN” but instead she went over everything and it took even longer than usual. I did tell her I thought the “Rapid Rental” was to eliminate a lot of this but she ignored that.
