Comment on CONSUMERS ALLEGE HIDDEN OVERCHARGES by DOLLAR / RENT A CAR by lori

I was quoted $187.00 to rent a car from Dollar rent a car. When we arrived to pick up the car, we were charged over$500.00. This charge included insurance, which we were told we had to have. I was greatly disappointed since the extra charge took my food and activity budget for my vacation. I hope you can help get some of ours met back.

I tried to negotiate with the clerk to get the original price that I was quoted. I also tried to register a complaint with my travel agent.
