We returned home from Cancun, Mexico today to an email notifying us that a our Bank of America card had been frozen due to possible fraudulent charges. Upon calling Bank of America from my cell phone at the airport, I was informed that TWO charges were flagged out of Luxembourg, Germany from BBG Communications. Knowing full well we weren’t in Germany and certainly didn’t charge $49.10 on May 9th and $76.84 on May 10th, our credit card company immediately cancelled our cards and issued new ones. It wasn’t until hours later that I remembered our call home ONCE for less than 5 minutes on May 9th. Certainly THIS couldn’t be a total of $125.94?! I called our credit card company again to confirm and were SHOCKED!!!! This is beyond outrageous and we will be doing everything possible to fight against the matter. If there is any help that can be offered from others aware of how to handle this, it would be greatly appreciated!
