On July 6,2014 1124 am at Tampa International Airport’s Dollar Car Rentals desk told agent that I have reservation for a full size car and that I have a copy of the reservation that I printed out online for $172.93. I was ask if I wanted additional insurance and I staed no I have it with my own policy and my credit card company covers. She then try selling me GPS, Full tank gas at return, Additional driver, easy pass for tolls, all which I have told I don’t need. And that’s all I wanted was the car and nothing else. She then make me check the box on a little pad screen with fonts the so small that you can’t read. So i make her tell me what it says and she stated the prompt was for waiving the damage waiverand to check off accept cause I do not want it. Obviously she lied about checking it accept for me not to have that coverage which I don’t need. Then it was additional driver to declined, gps to declined,gas purchase to dec lined and addtional driver for me to declined, and also the toll activation for me to decline. I asked her again and also told that i didn’t wanted any optional purchase and she stated no and that she didn’t add anything that I didn’t wanted. After returning the car in a week at the same airport. Of course when I got the bill she added the Damage waiver that i didn’t wanted which pushed the bill from $172.93 to $284.57.

Inform by car return attendant to call customer service. Call customer service when arrive at home that they close on Sunday. Call Monday and spoke to customer service which was rude and try to tell me they could give me $20 voucher and that they will not refund the money for the CDW that I didn’t want. Then try again by upping it to $50.00 voucher to hide the fact they are deceiving the cutomers. Also Submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Awaiting status.
